Does debt, savings, retirement accounts have to be split even if the couple is choosing uncontested divorce and have discussed everything beforehand?

If the husband and wife agree on how things are divided, what the support is going to be, what the children's schedule is going to be, the judge most of the time is going to accept that.

So if you agree that you keep your own retirement you keep your own savings then that's fine.

You come up with the agreement and the judge is likely going to sign that.

All of the laws that I'm talking about is if you're making the judge decide. If you're deciding on your own, no problem.

These laws, these rules that I'm talking about is really if you're asking the judge to decide.
