What would the prenup be protecting?
You're basically agreeing that you're turning your own money and his money into both of your money, right? That's what you're doing when you're buying a property in both of your names.
That's what you're doing. So, there's nothing really the prenup protecting if you only have a house.
But in the future, if you buy more houses or you have businesses or you have a retirement account, or your own checking account, your own savings account, your own cars, right? You also want to protect those assets as well.
And if those are in your name, maybe you want to protect that. You don't want to only look at the house. You want to look at all of your assets.
