Is the divorce rate within the Muslim community is comparable to that of the non Muslim community?

I don't think it's there yet.

But I do think that the average cost of divorce in the Muslim community is higher than the non Muslim community for a few reasons.

One I think is because we tend to earn more money than our non Muslim counterparts.

Number two is that we have a lot more animosity in our divorces.

Number three is that we tend to go to the divorce lawyers as soon as the fight starts, rather than separating for a few months and then coming to the divorce court to finalize it.

We're using the legal system to fight our spouse rather than just simply ending our marriage.
